Seiji Tanaka is a Japanese dancer affiliated with the butoh movement, a direct descendant of the teachings of Yoshito Ohno, son of Kazuo Ohno, one of the two founders of the discipline. A vibrating specter, from the depths of darkness to the brightest light, Seiji Tanaka's unsettling presence does not leave one indifferent. An approach to dance close to trance, where the vertigo of emptiness opens the doors to a mysterious and unheard-of universe.

In this Workshop, we carefully mobilise as much sensitivity as possible into doing simple acts, gestures, so that they become a dance of your essence. Discover how devoted awareness can open up a sacred space.We'll explore “the way of consciousness" and "the way of the body" before dancing. Come and meet your unknown body.
